Crosswind Calculator

Add gust factor if any.
CROSSWIND
00.00 kt
HEADWIND
00.00 kt
Lined up for departure. One arrow shows wind vector; windsock sits to the right under the label.

How this crosswind calculator works

Enter the wind direction (° true, FROM) and speed, pick a runway (or enter a custom heading). The tool shows the single wind vector relative to your departure view and reports components:

Angle = difference between wind direction and runway heading (0–180°). The arrow points from the wind toward the runway. Values are in knots with two decimals.

Example: Wind 050° at 12 kt on RWY 36 → Crosswind 9.19 kt from right, Headwind 7.71 kt.
